TOPIC: THE SECRET OF THE LORD IS WITH THEM THAT FEAR HIM
Meditation:
“The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.” (Psalms 25:14)
Today’s Text: Psalms 25:12-15
David was a man of faith and that took care of every negative fear in his life. The fear of the Lord provided divine insurance to whatever he undertook. As one reverences God He lets him into divine secrets. This is the platform of revelation, vision and success. To get rid of negative fear we need to connect to divine reverential fear. The more you reverence God, the less you have anything on earth to fear. As long as one forms an enduring habit of studying the word of God, he cannot go wrong fearing the Lord.
Are you dealing with the spirit of fear; Fears and anxieties concerning children’s school fees, their upkeep, rents, bills and so on? Is your heart shaking on account of these? Think Jesus all the time for whatever your mind dwells on, it magnifies. As you think Christ, He is bound to arise in your inward being. Perfecting His presence in your heart, His aura will keep your enemies at bay. He becomes greater in you than the one who is in the world. Christ in your life is the hope of glory!
As children of God, we open windows to satanic attacks through fear and unwise choices. This way, we automatically weaken our faith and allow the devil an inroad through sin and guilt. In Genesis 3:8, Adam and Eve sinned and the guilt attracted fear. They hid themselves from the presence of God. When we turn away from God we are caught in the web of the fear of man and the devil. This is the fear we must deal with. One crucified with Christ is a new creature, old things passed away. Christ must be magnified in your heart. If God be for you, no one can be against you. No weapon formed against you can prosper and every mouth that rises against you in judgement is cast down.
Prayers:
1. Pray to live in reverential fear of God.
2. Pray and bind every spirit of negative fear.
Confession:
Dear Lord I determine to live my life in reverential fear of you. As I submit to you, I rise above every fears in Jesus name.
